Job purpose
The right individual will continually identify, develop and maintain a quality network of real estate professionals, builders, professional and personal contacts that will serve as a recurring source for new mortgage lending opportunities. A loan officer will conduct interviews with prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of products and pricing policies and guidelines and gather any additional required information. The loan officer will provide outstanding customer service by maintaining complete knowledge of lending programs policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Reports to Branch Manager.
Hiring Mortgage Loan Officers in the following areas: Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
Duties and responsibilities
- Loan Production
- Daily Encompass Pipeline Review
- Origination II for 4 days or less; Updating delay in milestone screen weekly.
- Processing I for 3 days or less; communicate with processor.
- Settlement agent information in the file.
- Hazard insurance agent in the file.
- Appraisal has been ordered; manage receive date.
- Loan officer initial submission screen completed on all loans. Use conversation log for any notes after submission.
- Lock and order appraisal upfront whenever possible.
- Weekly processor and loan officer pipeline meetings.
- Manage and update closing date within Encompass when needed.
- Working with LOA to schedule pipeline calls with processor and management
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- NMLS licensing
- Must meet all company and industry education and licensing requirements.
- Previous mortgage origination preferred.
