Meet
Marquisa has been an Underwriter for 18 years and is now using her knowledge to help you get the right mortgage. You haven’t worked with the best until you’ve had an Underwriter on your side!
She graduated from Delaware State University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Business and earned a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from North Carolina A&T University in 2006.
She served as a Housing Specialist for USDA Rural Development (RD) from 2001 to 2013. During such time, she helped make homeownership possible for buyers with very low to moderate income. She helped guarantee loans for lenders all across DE & MD becoming an expert at RD housing programs.
From 2013 to 2019, she worked as a DE Underwriter to approve FHA, USDA and Conventional loans for states all over the U.S. At this capacity she became a valuable resource to lenders which led her to share her knowledge as a Loan Officer to help family, friends and clients obtain their dream homes.
Marquisa finds joy in raising her son Amari who keeps busy with tennis activities. When she’s not spending time with Amari, she’s finding a way to get you in your home! She takes great pride in making the home buying process quick and easy – let her help you make it happen today!
