In celebration of National Grilling Month, we’re sharing one of our favorite summer traditions — complete with a recipe that brings the flavor home.
There’s something special about summer evenings in your own backyard — cold drinks, music playing, and the sizzle of a juicy burger on the grill. Whether you’re hosting a gathering or just treating yourself, this recipe is a crowd-pleaser.
Tidewater’s Backyard BBQ Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 is perfect for juicy burgers)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 brioche buns
- Toppings: cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, or your faves!
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Form into 4 equal patties, slightly wider than your buns (they shrink a bit!).
- Grill 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
- Toast buns lightly on the grill.
- Assemble with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
